Cindy Crawford’s father considered the modeling business to be prostitution and initially didn’t want his daughter to work as a model. Cindy herself revealed this in the documentary series «Supermodels,» an excerpt of which is being shared by People.
The 57-year-old Cindy mentioned that her father initially thought that the «modeling business» was just a euphemism for «prostitution» when she first broke the news to him. According to her, her parents accompanied her to her first audition to make sure that nothing illegal was happening.
Cindy, along with other renowned models of the 90s, including Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell, appears in the Apple TV+ documentary series set to be released on September 20.
Crawford admitted that she doesn’t know how she managed to transform from a girl from the Midwest into a fashion icon. She noted that she never really thought about a career in modeling.
