Today I will share a very simple recipe for incredibly delicious mackerel in paprika on coals — a real culinary discovery for me, which I wanted to repeat again and again.

Well marinated in a mixture of paprika, garlic, herbs and vegetable oil mackerel fillet is very quickly and easily cooked on the coals or in extreme case on a steak pan or in a home grill. It turns out bright in taste, slightly spicy, fragrant and incredibly appetizing mackerel fillet, from the tasting of which it is simply impossible to tear yourself away. Fish dish of mackerel turns out not only tasty, but also healthy, because it is cooked with a minimum amount of oil. Grilled mackerel is served in paprika with slices of lemon and your favorite side dish of vegetables, rice or potatoes.

Mackerel 3 pcs.

Paprika 1 tsp.

Granulated garlic 1/2 tsp.

Provence herbs 1/2 tsp.

Salt 1 tsp.

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp.



Slightly defrosted mackerel cut into fillets. Do it with a sharp long knife. If possible, remove the bones. Rinse the fish well.

Put the mackerel fillets skin side up, thread the fish on wooden skewers, make diagonal cuts crosswise with a sharp knife.

For the marinade, combine the paprika, salt, garlic and herbs. Add the vegetable oil.

Coat the fish on both sides with the resulting marinade and leave to marinate for an hour.
