Sauerkraut and ham soup. It simply tastes heavenly.

Incredibly aromatic, very tasty cabbage soup with ham — you can’t say no to an extra! The taste of this soup is amazing, despite the fact that the ingredients are ordinary ones that can be found in any store.

Ingredients:

Bacon — 100 g;

Ham — 100 g;

Onion — 1 pc;

Carrot — 1 piece;

Celery, parsnip, parsley root — 50 g each (this is optional);

Peppers — 1 sweet and 1 hot;

Sauerkraut — 100 g;

Garlic — 3 cloves;

Potatoes (medium) — 3 pcs;

Water or broth — 1.5 l;

Spices, salt to taste

Fry the chopped bacon and ham in a small amount of vegetable oil. Then transfer to a bowl.

Pour in 1.5 liters of broth or water, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes to make the potatoes tender.


You can serve! This is a very simple to prepare, but incredibly tasty soup with sauerkraut and ham!

Add onions, carrots, celery, parsnips, parsley root (optional) to the pot. Then add sweet and hot peppers, garlic, sauerkraut, salt and spices to taste. Also add finely chopped potatoes.
