I think we all start to look a little funny [with brightly coloured makeup] as we get older. And I kind of laugh at myself when I look in the mirror. I’m like, Wow, this is really, what’s happening to me? It’s a change,» the actress said.

Anderson has stated that the change in appearance and abandoning «yesterday’s make-up» was a «rebellion» for her. However, it has, in her opinion, led to a «good place».

Pamela Anderson finally decided to give up make-up after she stopped working with make-up artist Alexis Vogel.

«She was the best. And since then, I just felt that without Alexis, I was just better off not wearing makeup,» Pamela Anderson said.

The actress added that at the beginning of her career, she didn’t have her own opinions on how she should look. Therefore, Anderson «went along with what people told her to do» with her appearance.
