Kendall Jenner went blonde for her Marilyn Monroe look on Halloween. Instead of going all out and wearing one of the iconic dresses of the legendary blonde, as her sister Kim Kardashian did at the Met Gala in 2022, Jenner opted for simplicity and recreated one of Monroe’s more everyday looks.

Kendall shared a carousel of photos on Instagram taken before her annual Halloween party. In the photos, the model sported a black Intimissimi turtleneck, white pants, diamond chandelier earrings, and, of course, a wavy blonde wig. This look was clearly an homage to Marilyn Monroe’s iconic 1953 Life magazine photo shoot, in which she graced the cover in a similar outfit.

Nevertheless, Jenner’s caption references another Marilyn moment: ‘Happy Birthday, Mr. President’ — a famous line from the song Monroe sang to President John F. Kennedy on his 45th birthday in 1962.
