Prince Harry is refusing to watch the new season of «The Crown,» which depicts the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, according to sources cited by Page Six.

The latest season of the Netflix hit portrays the final days of Diana against the backdrop of her relationship with film producer Dodi Fayed, culminating in their fatal car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.

The late princess (portrayed by Elizabeth Debicki) is whimsically depicted as a ghost in some scenes, conversing with her ex-husband Prince Charles (Dominic West) and her mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth (Imelda Staunton). Fayed (Khalid Abdalla) also returns as a ghost.

The series also depicts Diana’s final conversation with Harry, who was 12 years old at the time of her death.

«Due to the sensitive nature of the upcoming episodes of ‘The Crown,’ Prince Harry has understandably chosen not to watch this season,» noted the source.
