Childhood cookies

Perhaps each of us remembers the delightful cookies from school cafeterias… they were wonderful! That’s why today, I suggest immersing ourselves in our school years and preparing this treat.

Ingredients:

Unsalted butter 82.5% fat – 100 g

2.5% Milk – 100 ml

Egg – 1

Sugar – 210 g

Vanilla extract – 5 g

Salt – a pinch

Baking powder – 5 g

All-purpose flour – 450 g

Roasted peanuts for decoration – 40 g

Egg yolk – 1

Vegetable oil for greasing parchment paper – 5 g

Step-by-Step Recipe:

Step 1

Cream the butter with sugar until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Step 2

Beat the egg with milk, salt, and vanilla.

Step 3

Mix the milk mixture with the butter mixture.

Step 4

Gently mix the flour with the baking powder.

Step 5

Add the flour to the previously obtained mixture, knead well until a elastic dough is formed.

Step 6

Roll out the dough into a layer with a thickness of 1 cm. Cut out the cookies with a special mold, gather the remaining dough, roll it out again, and cut out the remaining cookies.

Step 7

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and carefully brush it with vegetable oil. Place the cookies on the baking sheet, brush each with egg yolk, and decorate with roasted peanuts.

Step 8

Place our beautiful cookies in a preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.
