In Shakira’s hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia, a massive 6.5-meter-high bronze statue has been erected in honor of the Latin American pop queen.

The hitmaker of «Hips Don’t Lie» shared photos and videos of the statue on her Instagram account, capturing her signature hip-shaking move.

She also posted photos of her parents, William Mebarak Chadid and Nidia del Carmen Ripoll Torrado, standing in front of the epic statue. «It’s too much for my little heart,» she wrote.
