«Beyoncé once again set the internet on fire with a photo of the five members of Destiny’s Child.
In the photo, all five members of the group are flashing the peace sign. Each of the women is adorned in silver, leading fans to speculate that the photo was taken during one of Beyoncé’s concerts as part of the Renaissance World Tour, where a silver dress code was observed.»
Destiny’s Child member LaToya Luckett shared a photo on her Instagram featuring the original members of the group, LaTavia Roberson, Kelly Rowland, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.
The group was formed in 1990 in Houston, Texas, as Girls Tyme but became known and loved worldwide as Destiny’s Child.
In the early 2000s, Roberson and Luckett left the group, and it eventually transformed into a trio with Beyoncé, Rowland, and Michelle Williams.
In the caption of the photo, Luckett wrote, ‘This was my favorite moment of 2023. May we all experience such beautiful moments in 2024.’
All the women gathered together to publicly support Beyoncé at the premiere of her concert film ‘Renaissance: A Beyoncé Film’ in Los Angeles on November 25.
The film also features a reunion of all the members in Washington, D.C., as they embraced each other backstage. It was the first time in many years that the ladies were seen together.
While it’s unclear whether there will be more public reunions in the future, fans are pleading for the group to hit the stage together again.
Regardless of whether this is a sign that Destiny’s Child will ‘fulfill fans’ wishes,’ the photo itself holds significant nostalgic value for fans.
