After a high-profile breakup with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt encountered his ex-wife’s father, John Voight, and brother, James Haven, for the first time in a public place. This was reported by the Daily Mail.

The chance meeting of the former relatives took place at the Gagosian Gallery, owned by American art dealer of Armenian descent Larry Gagosian, where they were attending an exhibition by the director of the film ‘Moneyball,’ Bennett Miller.

One witness told The Sun the following: ‘Many noticed how uncomfortable Brad was being in the same room as Angie’s family, especially considering the space wasn’t that large.’

The source added: ‘James was friendly; he saw Brad, but I didn’t notice them talking. During the event, each of them was with their own group of friends.’

Pitt was at the exhibition with his new girlfriend, 31-year-old Ines de Ramon.

According to onlookers, the couple also noticed Jolie’s relatives and ‘politely acknowledged them.’

The Sun claims that Brad was unaware that members of his ex-wife’s family would also be at the exhibition.

Also present at the gallery was Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Sam Asghari, who approached the Hollywood star and asked for a ‘selfie.’

After a brief conversation with the father of six children, Asghari also approached John and James.
