Jennifer Lopez is promoting her new musical film ‘This Is Me… Now,’ and she revealed that Khloe Kardashian turned down a role in her film.

According to her, several Hollywood celebrities she approached with offers to appear in the film declined, one of whom was Khloe Kardashian.

“People are afraid to put themselves out there. I understand. But I don’t behave like I’m scared — that’s the secret to my damn career,” Lopez confessed.

If Khloe had played a role in the film, it would have been her first acting role in almost ten years.

She appeared as herself in an episode of the NBC series “Law & Order: Los Angeles” in 2011, an episode of the BET series “Real Husbands of Hollywood” in 2013, and an episode of the USA Network series “Royal Pains” in 2014. She also appeared in the 2014 short film “Hpnotiq Sparkle” and the 2019 mini-series “For SKIMS” for her sister Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line.

Lopez also revealed that she invested $20 million of her own money to finance not only the album “This Is Me… Now,” but also the film “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” and, finally, the documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”

Both the album and the musical film will be released on February 16th, while the documentary will be released on February 27th.
