Rihanna performed her first concert in eight years at the pre-wedding festivities of the son of the wealthiest person in Asia.

Rihanna took to the stage for her first full-fledged concert in eight years in Jamnagar, India. The pop singer was paid no less than $6 million for her participation in a private concert honoring the wedding of Anant Ambani, the younger son of Indian billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and his future wife Radhika Merchant.

According to Setlist.fm, Rihanna’s setlist consisted of 19 songs.

While Rihanna headlined the 2023 Super Bowl and also performed at last year’s Oscars ceremony, her appearance at Anant and Radhika’s wedding marked her first full-fledged concert since November 2016.

According to local media reports, the singer has already left India. However, the pre-wedding festivities will continue for three more days.

Earlier, Ambani spent over $100 million on his sister Ishi’s wedding in 2018, which included a private performance by Beyoncé.
