The probability that two people will know each other since childhood and then both become stars whose names are known to the whole world is extremely small. But it does happen. We did a little digging and found childhood and teenage photos of celebrity couples who, it turns out, started being friends years ago — even before they became famous.

Some grew up together, some started their careers together, starring in obscure movies or TV shows, but in any case, all the famous artists in this collection have been dating for more than 20 years.
