Singer Shakira admitted that she found out about the infidelities of her ex-husband, former Barcelona player Gerard Piqué, from the press. His words are reported by O Jogo.

«I found out from the press that I was betrayed when my father was in intensive care. I thought I wouldn’t make it. The person I loved most in my life, my father, abandoned me when I needed him the most. His recovery was very difficult and slow, but for all of us, he was an amazing person who always amazed us with his strength. My father was the greatest example of resilience,» Shakira said.

Shakira and Piqué started dating in 2010. Two years later, their first son Milan was born, and two years after that, their second son Sasha was born. In the summer of 2022, the singer left the footballer because of his infidelities.
