Marvel Studios has decided to postpone work on the sequel to the superhero movie “Eternals.” This was announced by industry insider Daniel Richtman on his social media pages.
According to the industry insider, instead, the studio will focus on developing “guaranteed hits.” Richtman noted that work on the second installment of the comic book movie is not completely halted but rather temporarily postponed.
In November 2021, it was reported that “Eternals” became the lowest-rated film in Marvel Cinematic Universe history, receiving a “rotten” rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website.
“Eternals” featured Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, and others.
