“It was great to see Danny on Broadway in ‘I Want It,'” Schwarzenegger captioned the photo. “He, Lucy, and the entire cast entertained the audience, laughed, and enjoyed every minute – one of the best plays I’ve ever seen, a true spectacle with heart!”

Schwarzenegger and DeVito starred together in the 1988 film ‘Twins,’ where they played genetically modified twin brothers whose paths only cross in adulthood. It was Schwarzenegger’s first foray into a comedic role, and the film was a massive box office success.

“I’m looking forward to working together again,” added the former Governor of California. The iconic stars were involved in the long-awaited sequel to ‘Twins’ titled ‘Triplets,’ where the brothers were set to discover they are actually triplets. Reports suggested Eddie Murphy’s involvement in the sequel’s cast. However, the project was put on hold after the passing of the original film’s director, Ivan Reitman, in February 2022 at the age of 75. Subsequently, Ivan’s son, Hollywood director Jason Reitman, decided to continue the film, but according to Schwarzenegger, it was ultimately halted.

Schwarzenegger also mentioned that he is currently working on “another film with Danny” and added, “It’s nice to collaborate with him; his talent is wonderful.”
