The vintage fashion and antiques auction house Kerry Taylor Auctions has put up for auction the iconic ‘naked’ dress worn by Kate Moss.
The famous slip dress, created by Liza Bruce, became the most iconic fashion moment for Moss in her career. The British model, who was only 19 at the time, made fashion history but had no idea about it at the time.
Then she arrived at the Hilton hotel in London for the Elite Model Agency’s ‘Look of the Year’ party, and she was surrounded by paparazzi everywhere. Posing for the paparazzi under harsh lighting, she had no idea that everything was visible through the sheer fabric.
Slightly puzzled by the level of attention she was receiving, she went inside and discovered that her dress was see-through.
«It was the flash that made it look naked, because I didn’t think it was that see-through when I put it on. But obviously, it was,» Kate told British Vogue.
