The trailer for a James Bond movie featuring Henry Cavill and Margot Robbie has reached 2 million views on YouTube, but turned out to be a fake.
The fan-made trailer for the film, uploaded on April 13th and featuring Cavill and Robbie, has garnered over two million views on the streaming platform. However, despite the prominent names of the celebrities and the iconic spy franchise attached to the video, the trailer is completely fake.
The video was taken from the YouTube channel KH Studio, which creates «conceptual trailers» as a means of generating «anticipation for future releases, working in tandem with current movie trailers.» The channel, which has been active for over a year, has created dozens of fake trailers for movies in recent months, including videos about «Spider-Man» with Andrew Garfield in the lead role and a fake teaser for «Back to the Future,» among others.
In reality, neither the 40-year-old Cavill nor the 33-year-old Robbie are associated with the next installment of the long-running James Bond series.
