The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its list of nominees for induction in 2024. Among them are Sher, Dave Matthews Band, Kool & the Gang, Mary J. Blige, Peter Frampton, and Ozzy Osbourne.

Jimmy Buffett will receive recognition for his musical prowess. Among the other nominees are Dionne Warwick, Norman Whitfield, Alexis Korner, John Mayall, MC5, Suzanne de Passe, and Big Mama Thornton.

It’s worth noting that Sher is nominated for the first time. In a previous interview, she shared her thoughts on the constant neglect, stating that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame “can go wherever.”

The winners will be determined by a jury consisting of over a thousand artists, historians, and representatives from the music industry, with the announcement set for April and the official ceremony to take place in the fall.
