Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban appeared on the red carpet with their daughters for the first time

The musician and actress’s daughters made their debut at a social event. They joined the couple at the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony.

On April 27th, Nicole Kidman was honored with a prestigious award. At the 49th gala concert of the American Film Institute, held in Los Angeles, she ceremoniously received the award for her contributions to cinema. This award has previously been bestowed upon personalities such as Julie Andrews, George Clooney, Jane Fonda, Al Pacino, Harrison Ford, and Barbra Streisand.

Kidman and Urban keep their personal lives private from the public, but they made an exception for the Hollywood event and appeared on the red carpet with their daughters Sunday and Faith. Nicole and Keith, who have been married since 2006, split their time between Australia and Nashville. Sunday is currently 15 years old, and Faith is 13 years old.

For the event, the girls chose red dresses by Monique Lhuillier, while their mother posed in a Balenciaga dress with gold sequins. Nicole’s sister, Antonia Kidman, and her daughter, Sybella Howie, joined the family. During her speech, Nicole talked about the «enormous amount of luck» and «big, big love» in her life.

«My daughters have never appeared publicly with me on the red carpet, so today is their first appearance, so they are here — Sunday and Faith,» Nicole announced.

In a career that is at its peak, today marks an important event: this evening the American Film Institute will honor my wife as a new member of this extraordinary fraternity. Baby, I am so proud of you, and as biased as I may seem as a husband, I’ll let the list of previous honorees speak for me. What a magnificent list! — concluded Urban.
