The two-part Channel 4 documentary «Spacey Unmasked» offers a «forensic look» at Kevin Spacey’s rise to fame and the allegations.
«I felt like I was looking at a heartless monster,» actor Daniel says about the alleged sexual violence by Kevin Spacey in the new Channel 4 documentary.
In the film, 10 men, including Daniel, share their stories of alleged abuse by Spacey. None of them participated in the London court where the actor was acquitted of nine charges in July 2023, and all but one had never spoken out before. The allegations stem from alleged incidents between 2001 and 2013. Spacey served as artistic director of the Old Vic theatre in London from 2004 to 2015.
The film presents testimony from a group of men—identified only by their first names—spanning five decades.
Many of the victims claim Spacey promised to help their careers but soon realized it came at the cost of alleged «sexual favors,» often on set.
Spacey himself stated in his statement to X that Channel 4 did not give him enough time to respond to the allegations and did not provide «enough detail to investigate these issues.»
