Beyoncé and her producer husband Jay-Z are raising three children: 12-year-old Blue Ivy and 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir.
The public is quite familiar with Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, as she not only regularly appears at social events but also often performs alongside her mother on stage as a dancer.
However, the younger twins, Sir and Rumi, are not as widely known in the media, and fans of Beyoncé hear much less about them. Over the years since their birth, the artist has only shared a few pictures of them with her audience online.
Last weekend, in an interview with E! News, Tina Knowles, the mother of the singer, shared long-awaited information about her grandchildren.
‘Rumi is amazing — a remarkable artist and creator. How could she be anything else when she grew up in such a creative environment? Everything we talk about at home is creativity and fashion,’ Tina said.
She described Sir, the star’s grandson, as ‘a very intelligent and thoughtful child.’
She added that he’s not as interested in fashion.
The 70-year-old Tina Knowles also shared more details about Beyoncé’s fascination with country music. In this genre, she released her latest album titled ‘Cowboy Carter.’
We’re from Texas. And we’ve been part of this culture for a long time,’ emphasized the superstar’s mother.
