George Clooney delighted fans by taking a short break during filming of his new movie in Italy to chat with them.

Fans could be heard shouting «Happy birthday» to the two-time Oscar winner from behind the set railing.

George, who had previously celebrated his 63rd birthday, responded with the words «sono vecchio,» which means «I’m old.»

On Monday, George celebrated his 63rd birthday by playing basketball with his co-star Adam Sandler during breaks in filming their new Netflix movie in Italy.

Adam and George had never worked together before on the film by three-time Oscar nominee Noah Baumbach titled «The Jay Kelly.»

Plot details are still under wraps, but Deadline previously reported that the film is a «funny and poignant coming-of-age movie.»
