Madonna embarked on a new romance with British boxer Richard Riakporhe just days after parting ways with Josh Popper.

The 65-year-old pop queen ‘got close’ to the 34-year-old Richard over the past few weeks after they met through mutual friends in the fashion industry.

They say Richard ‘gets on very well’ with Madonna following her split from her former boxer boyfriend Josh.

As a source told The Sun, ‘They have mutual friends. They get on great and have fun hanging out with each other. But at the moment, they’re just good friends.’

The boxer himself recently hinted that Madonna might watch his upcoming fight with Chris Billam-Smith in London next month.

Madonna and Josh met through her son David Banda, who was taking boxing lessons from Popper at the Bredwinners gym in New York. “Madonna hardly saw Josh for a few months because her schedule was very hectic. Everything just fizzled out,” a source told The Sun.

The breakup occurred seven months after the pop queen began her long-awaited holiday tour at London’s O2 Arena in October 2023. Earlier this month, she concluded the tour with a massive free concert in Rio de Janeiro.
