“Quick” sex makes people want more.

Quick” sex makes people want more. According to a survey by Beducated, more than a third of respondents reported that brief sexual sessions leave them wanting more, with men being almost twice as likely as women to express dissatisfaction with short-lived sex.

The collected data revealed that the ideal duration for sexual play is between 30 and 60 minutes, though many participants reported not reaching that target.

“This finding suggests that we need to slow down during sex, especially in long-term relationships,” cautioned the study’s authors.

While over 80% of respondents called penetration the main element of their sexual experience, 70% said they would be happy to skip that traditional focus, which, according to experts, points to an evolution in our values surrounding intimacy.

Expert Merya Frey remarked that this “indicates a deeper exploration and a shift in the dynamics of intimacy.”

Moreover, the missionary position was far from being the most popular form of penetration.

Overall, half of the participants described their sex lives as “mostly” or “very” satisfying, giving it a rating of 3-5.

The most satisfied subgroup, according to the survey, were women aged 40 and over. “Many women by that age become more comfortable with their bodies, which likely reduces anxiety about performance,” Frey suggested.

“The more relaxed we are in the bedroom, the higher the likelihood we’ll experience satisfaction.”
