Prince William Mentions Brother Harry by Name for the First Time in Six Years
Prince William has made headlines by mentioning his brother, Prince Harry, by name for the first time in six years. Details were shared by the Daily Mail.
The heir to the throne is the subject of a documentary that addresses the issue of providing housing for the homeless. William revealed that his interest in this cause began in childhood, thanks to his mother.
The royal family representative recalled how, in 1993, Princess Diana took her two sons to the charity organization The Passage, which supports those who are homeless for various reasons. This event took place just a few days before William’s 11th birthday. While recounting this story, he surprised listeners by mentioning his brother’s name, which many interpreted as a hint at a potential reconciliation between the two siblings.
“Mum took me with her; she took us both: me and Harry. I had never been to places like that before and was a bit scared, not knowing what to expect. I remember thinking something like, ‘Well, if everyone doesn’t have a home, they must be very sad.’ But it’s just incredible how happy the atmosphere was there,” William shared his childhood memories.
The elder prince also noted that he and Harry not only interacted with the charity’s beneficiaries but also played chess with them. It was at that moment that he realized each person has their own life, different from others.
