One day, a man came home after a tiring day at work, full of plans for dinner and to fix the television. But fate had a surprise in store for him. On the side of the road, he noticed a small gray kitten lying on the wet sidewalk, shivering from the cold.

The man’s heart clenched at what he saw, and he couldn’t leave the baby to its fate. He unzipped his jacket, picked up the kitten, and tucked it under his chin. When they got home, the man realized he had to put his plans on hold. He devoted his free time to rescuing the little kitten. He warmed it up and fed it.

At first, the kitten was scared to open its eyes, but gradually it realized it was no longer in danger and relaxed. Soon, it happily drank milk from a bowl. The next day, the man took the baby to the veterinary clinic, where it was found that aside from being underweight, it was not in serious danger.

From that moment on, the kitten became the man’s loyal friend and never left his side. It accompanied its rescuer to work and greeted him after a tiring day. They even slept together. Over time, the little crumb grew into an adult cat with long whiskers and shiny fur.

The cat loves to rest on the windowsill and purrs incessantly like a little winding tractor. The man has never regretted taking the kitten. Now, they are happy together.
