Neither people nor animals are immune to betrayal, but for animals, it is far harder to comprehend such human behavior, especially when they are known for their unwavering loyalty to their owners.

Levka, a cat already in his advanced years, over 21 years old, found himself cast aside by the very person he trusted most. His owner decided he was no longer needed and cruelly threw him out onto the street.

Confusion and hurt filled Levka’s heart as he couldn’t understand what had happened or why he was treated with such cruelty. Alone and abandoned, he ended up in a shelter, but it was there that a surprising turn of events took place. Despite his age, Levka quickly found a new owner. Adriana, having read his story online, was moved by the cat’s plight. She couldn’t bear to see him suffer and decided to provide him with the love and care he deserved in his final years.

Adriana immediately took Levka to the vet, where the doctor diagnosed him with two serious illnesses: kidney failure and a brain tumor. Levka required expensive and complex treatment to manage his conditions.
