Fried Eggs in a Tomato

At first glance, scrambled eggs may seem like a fairly mundane dish. But in reality, that’s not the case at all. There are many recipes you can follow to prepare it in such a way that everyone will be surprised. No wonder French chefs value it so highly.

We’ve prepared a recipe for you for an excellent breakfast — scrambled eggs in tomatoes. It’s a very interesting dish that will give you a boost of energy. Even the pickiest children will eat this with pleasure. Just wait and see!

Ingredients:

2 tomatoes

2 eggs

50 g ham

20 g dill

Olive oil (to taste)

Butter (to taste)

Black pepper (ground) (to taste)

Salt (to taste)

Preparation:

Scrambled eggs in tomatoes

Wash and peel the tomatoes well. Cut off the tops and carefully scoop out the pulp using a teaspoon. Salt the inside of the tomatoes and brush with olive oil.

Line a baking dish with parchment paper and grease it with butter. Place the tomatoes in the dish.

Finely chop the ham and place it at the bottom of each tomato. Crack an egg into each tomato, being careful not to break the yolk. Salt and pepper the filling.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 10-12 minutes. Afterward, sprinkle with chopped herbs.
