Gwyneth Paltrow, 52, has spoken about her and Timothée Chalamet’s photos from last month, which went viral on the internet, according to Daily Mail.
Appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s show, the Oscar-winning actress discussed the scene in Marty Supreme, where she kissed the 28-year-old actor on set.
In the scene, the star of Wonka pushes the actress against a wall, and their passion intensifies.
«It was a very personal scene, and there were paparazzi around us,» the actress recalled.
The mother of two also mentioned that her 20-year-old daughter, Apple, and 18-year-old son, Moses, encouraged her to take on the role.
Additionally, she noted that her brother, Jake Paltrow, urged her to meet with the film’s director, Josh Safdie. «I haven’t been making many films lately because I’ve been focused on my business,» she explained. «Then this film came along, and my brother, who’s a filmmaker, said, ‘He’s a great director. You need to meet with him.'»
Finally, Gwyneth added, «When Apple found out that Timothée Chalamet was going to be there… she really pushed me to do it.»
The film, which stars Paltrow and Chalamet, is inspired by the lives of Marty Reisman and professional ping-pong players.
After a five-year hiatus, the actress was inspired to return to the set for her 20-year-old daughter, Apple, who is «in love» with Chalamet.
