Anne Hathaway and Dave Bautista to Star Together in New Action-Comedy
Anne Hathaway and Dave Bautista are set to appear together in a new action-comedy produced by Amazon MGM. The project was first reported by Deadline.
In the upcoming film, the Hollywood stars will portray undercover FBI agents who are forced to pretend they are a happily married couple. Despite their mutual dislike, the characters must learn to work together in order to complete their mission.
As the story unfolds, the reluctant partners are expected to develop an unlikely bond, transforming their forced cooperation into genuine friendship.
The screenplay is written by Jonathan Tropper, best known for his work on The Adam Project. The film is being produced by Anthony and Joe Russo, the acclaimed directors behind The Avengers franchise.
The title of the movie and its release date have not yet been announced.
Earlier reports also revealed that Anne Hathaway is set to join an upcoming project directed by Christopher Nolan. That film will reportedly star Zendaya, Matt Damon, and Tom Holland, with filming scheduled to begin in 2025 and a planned release date of July 17, 2026.
