Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, flew to Mexico on a private jet during the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, according to the *Daily Mail*.
While more than 100,000 people were evacuated and several of his colleagues, including Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, saw their homes completely destroyed by the flames, DiCaprio was spotted landing in Cabo San Lucas on Friday.
Given Leo’s reputation as an environmental activist, it was surprising to see him take a private jet during such a significant natural disaster threatening his own community.
The 50-year-old Oscar winner and founder of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which has allocated over $80 million in grants to combat climate change and promote sustainable development, seemed unbothered as he disembarked the plane alongside Ceretti.
Dressed casually in a hoodie and a T-shirt, Leo appeared calm next to Ceretti. The couple, who have been dating since 2023, were accompanied by Leo’s father, George DiCaprio, and George’s wife, Peggy Ann Farrar.
