Jacob Elordi stars as an Australian war hero in Prime Video’s The Narrow Road to the Deep North, based on Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize-winning novel.

Elordi plays the role of Dorrigo Evans, a doctor who becomes a prisoner of war. He is also haunted by a passionate love affair with his aunt’s wife. The script is written by Shaun Grant and portrays Elordi as a war hero who, after returning home, becomes a respected surgeon. The series covers a ten-year span and was filmed in New South Wales.

The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, and Elordi’s co-stars include Ciáran Hinds, Olivia DeJonge, Heather Mitchell, Show Kasamatsu, Thomas Weatherall, and Simon Baker.
