Men’s Suit and Tie

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel—just take inspiration from the models at the Saint Laurent show: wear a tie with a classic men’s suit and shirt.

For footwear, opt for loafers or boots in a masculine style, and don’t forget clear-lens glasses. Ideally, hair should be pulled into a sleek bun or a low ponytail.

If you want a more relaxed outfit, choose a suit in an interesting shade, like burgundy or lime. Instead of tying the tie around your neck, wear it as a scarf (see the photo above).

With Trousers and a Vest

Another classic option is to go for a formal look but swap the blazer for a vest. You can also highlight your waist (a seasonal trend!) by choosing a fitted vest or adding a belt to the look.

Ties can also be worn with skirts—not just structured midi skirts but also mini or A-line skirts. You can leave the top buttons of your shirt undone and tie the tie around your bare neck. Add slingbacks or pumps for an ultra-romantic and feminine look!

With Tweed

Eclectic fashion has been reigning for a while, so a tie can be paired not only with suiting fabrics but also with tweed, which remains timeless. Tie the tie around your neck and wear a cropped top under your blazer.

You can also opt for a statement tie—made of crystals, beads, plastic, or any other material. It can match the color of your shirt or serve as a bright accent in a monochrome outfit.
