Anna Wintour Considers Rihanna and A$AP Rocky One of the Most Influential Couples in Fashion

Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, has named Rihanna and A$AP Rocky one of the most influential couples in the fashion world. She shared her thoughts with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the Met Gala, which will take place on May 5. This year’s theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”. A$AP Rocky will co-host the event alongside Wintour, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, and Pharrell Williams.

In the interview, Wintour spoke about her admiration for the couple and how they have left a lasting mark on the fashion industry.

“First of all, they are incredibly talented and amazing. I think they have fantastic values and a great sense of style,” Wintour said. “I was talking to A$AP Rocky yesterday about what he’s going to wear, but I still don’t know what Rihanna will be wearing,” she added.

Wintour also expressed her excitement about this year’s theme.

“I think it’s wonderful that for the first time in a long while, the museum is focusing on menswear, as well as showcasing the incredible talent of many Black designers. I am thrilled and deeply honored to be at the Met,” the editor-in-chief stated.
