Sophia stood by her father’s grave, unable to believe what had happened. His last words echoed in her mind: “You will become a star, Sophia, I believe in you.” These words were the final advice from the person who had always supported her dreams, despite all the hardships. She felt her eyes fill with tears. The loss was too great to comprehend all at once. Everything she had once held onto had crumbled. Her father was gone, and now she was completely alone. But there was truth in his words: her life was just beginning. Sophia couldn’t forget that her father believed in her abilities and hoped for her success. That belief was her only support, and she needed to find the strength within herself to carry on.
After her father’s death, Sophia had no support left. Her stepmother, with whom she had lived after her mother’s departure, did not support her. On the contrary, she set a condition for Sophia: she had to find a job, or there would be no place for her in the house. Despite the sorrow, Sophia decided not to give up. She remembered all the dreams her father had planted in her heart. She had to continue her studies, despite everything happening around her. Her father had always said she would become a singer, and she believed him.
She didn’t allow herself to sink into sadness. Step by step, Sophia made decisions that changed her life. She had to become the person she had always dreamed of, and she was determined to do it for herself and for her father. Despite all the obstacles, she decided to continue her education and pursue her dream — to perform on stage.
But as time went on, the situation became more difficult. Her stepmother did not leave her alone, and soon she received a direct order from her: “You don’t live here anymore. Pack your things.” For Sophia, this was too much, but she could not give up. She packed her things and left the house. It was hard to think about the future because the world seemed so unfathomable and cold. It was dark outside, and Sophia walked aimlessly. She had no one to support her. She was born into a family where both parents were orphans. She had neither family nor friends who could help her in this difficult time.
As she walked down the empty street, she saw the lights of the Breeze restaurant in the distance. She remembered that her father had often mentioned this restaurant when talking about his friend. At that moment, she felt she couldn’t allow herself to be weak. This was the place her father had talked about, and despite her uncertainty, she decided to go there.
When she entered the restaurant, a young man greeted her and offered assistance. Sophia said she wanted to meet the restaurant owner, Jeremy, the one her father had mentioned. The boy left and returned a few minutes later with a man who seemed confident and authoritative, but in his eyes, there was also respect and attention.
“Are you looking for me?” he asked.
“Yes. I’m Sophia, the daughter of Viktor and Elena. My father said I could come to you when I have problems,” she replied, her voice trembling with emotion.
“Viktor and Elena? Why didn’t your father help you himself?” Jeremy asked, surprised.
“My father passed away. He died a few days ago,” Sophia said, barely able to say the words.
Jeremy listened carefully and comforted her. He said he had always considered her parents close friends and was always ready to help, even though they hadn’t been in touch for a long time. He offered Sophia to stay with him until she figured out what to do next. She accepted his offer because she couldn’t be alone. Jeremy was there for her and supported her in every way possible.
Sophia continued her studies, and thanks to Jeremy, she felt that she was not alone. She was determined to pursue her dream. One day, when an unforeseen situation arose — the singer who was supposed to perform didn’t show up — Jeremy suggested that Sophia replace her on stage. Sophia agreed, despite her doubts.
As she began to sing, everything around her suddenly disappeared. Silence filled the room, and people stood listening to her voice. Jeremy sat in the corner, proudly watching the girl he once considered the daughter of his friend. There was something mesmerizing about her performance, something that wouldn’t let go, it felt like magic. He was sure his father was right: she would undoubtedly become a star.
After that night, Sophia’s life began to change. She was no longer alone. Jeremy became her mentor, and her success on stage opened up new opportunities. She started believing in herself and realized that she could become the person she had always dreamed of. Sophia didn’t give up, and now she knew that the future was hers.
