Singer Alla Pugacheva has been living abroad for several years now, but this does not stop her songs from remaining popular among Russian listeners. Despite the distance, the Prima Donna continues to receive impressive royalties for the use of her hits on music platforms and social media.
According to sources, Pugacheva’s older songs, such as *“Starye Chasy”* (“Antique Clock”) and other time-tested hits, bring her up to 5–7 million rubles per quarter. Converted annually, that amounts to around 28 million rubles, allowing the artist to live comfortably far from her homeland. Last year, Alla Borisovna released a new album that included
16 tracks recorded during her solo concerts at the Kremlin. The release turned out to be extremely successful: in just two days of sales, the singer earned about 20 million rubles on one platform.
“And that’s just from one platform—there are many more. In fact, she managed to earn 10 million rubles a day without even leaving her home,” a close acquaintance of the artist shared.
However, not all of the new tracks received such a warm reception. The songs released by Pugacheva for her 76th birthday did not spark much public interest.
Nevertheless, her time-tested hits continue to generate stable income, allowing the singer to enjoy life abroad without denying herself anything. Currently, Alla Pugacheva is in Cyprus, where her daughter Kristina Orbakaite recently arrived. The singer plans not only to spend time with her mother, but also to perform a concert in Limassol, once again delighting fans with her beloved songs.
