On May 8, Kristina Orbakaite held a concert in Limassol, where she was supported by her mother, Alla Pugacheva, who resides in Cyprus. Alongside the Primadonna, her younger children — twins Harry and Lisa — also attended the event. During the performance, Orbakaite confessed that she misses her mother, whom she rarely sees due to frequent separations. Speaking to the audience, she noted with gentle envy:
“How lucky you are — you’re neighbors with my mother!”
The climax of the concert came with the performance of a song dedicated to Alla Borisovna. At that moment, Kristina knelt down
before her mother, expressing her love and respect:
“Stones will fall from the sky — Alla will sing,
Wings will burn from behind — Alla will sing,
Bullets will fly into the soul — Alla will sing,
To all who wish to burn like the sun — Alla will sing,”
sang Kristina with lines full of deep emotion.
Kristina invited Alla to come on stage, but Pugacheva, taking the microphone, replied with a smile:
“Kristina will sing.”
After that,
the Primadonna presented her daughter with a luxurious bouquet and remained at the edge of the stage, embracing Harry and Lisa, watching the performance.
Pugacheva’s appearance caused a stir even before the concert began. As soon as she stepped out of the car in front of the venue, she was immediately surrounded by fans eager to give her flowers and take photos. However, Alla Borisovna chose to stay out of the spotlight, asking them to pass the flowers to Kristina instead.
It’s worth noting that in recent years, Orbakaite has rarely appeared in Russia, spending most of her time in the United States. She flew to Limassol with her husband and daughter, taking the opportunity to see her mother after a long separation.
