The Artist is Preoccupied with the Question of Reuniting His Parents
Renowned Russian singer Philipp Kirkorov has announced his intention to transfer the remains of his mother, Viktoria Likhacheva, from Bulgaria to Russia. This process is planned to be completed in the near future, after all necessary documents have been arranged.
Viktoria Likhacheva passed away on April 30, 1994, due to cancer. She was buried in a cemetery in Sofia, alongside other family members. However, Philipp Kirkorov has now decided to relocate her remains to Moscow, where the grave of his father, Bedros Kirkorov, who passed away in March 2025, is located. Kirkorov emphasized the importance of reuniting his parents, stating: “I want my mother to be buried next to my father.”
The relocation process is complicated by the need to follow formal procedures and gather the appropriate documents. Nevertheless, the singer expressed confidence that he would be able to fulfill this mission. These sentiments were reflected in one of Kirkorov’s interviews, where he shared his emotions: “Even months after my father’s passing, I still feel completely alone.”
