American singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have officially confirmed their relationship on social media.
A series of photos from the couple’s recent trip to Japan appeared on the artist’s personal blog.
The new post put an end to months of speculation about Perry’s romance with the politician. In one photo, Perry and Trudeau are seen smiling and leaning close to each other, while in another they are enjoying sushi together.
The singer shared a carousel of photos with her partner on Saturday, December 6, shortly after Trudeau posted images on his own social media account featuring former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko. Perry captioned her post: “Tokyo times on tour and more.”
The public confirmation of Katy and Justin’s relationship sparked an active response from social media users. “O Canada! Now it’s official!”, “Your happiness is our happiness. We love you!” commenters wrote.
Earlier, reports also circulated claiming that Katy Perry is seeking $5 million in a legal dispute involving a seriously ill war veteran with a disability, who allegedly sold her a house by mistake.
